About This shot has been layered and blended with one of the sunrise skies I took the same morning ~ hence the colour of the 'daisy'?

So, "give me your answer, do", to quote the old music hall song! :o) Would it look better with its white dress on, or does the composite work?

Thanks for your thoughts ~ they're always appreciated. Even D.T. and S.B.'s jokes, which are getting almost as terrible as mine!! :0))

Best regards to all,

Chris

I accuse you of gilding the daisy. Almost as reprehensible as gilding the lily!

personally I like it, the richness of the yellow does it for me, and nice job of framing too. Dottie

What do you mean almost as bad ? ;-)

Why is it when I hear the name Daisy I don't immediately think of "Daisy the cow" and instead think of "Daisy Duke" from the Dukes of Hazzard. Oh dear what an upbringing I must have had lol

Sorry the photo ..... I can barely see the blending from the sunrise, but I do like the composition and the framing "A la Chris" :-)

Great work :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

I was ok till you told me. Now the left side of the flower looks off color from the rest. good detail and compo.

This is an absolutely beautiful floral shot, Chris. I like the angle, the crop and especially the contrast here. I'm not quite sure about the border. Maybe it's a bit wide and IMO this beautiful image does not need it for improvement.
Kind regards
Günter.

I think it's a "bloomin'" lovely floral shot, me ol' flower. Maybe the border's a bit wide though.
As for the quality of the jokes, blame that on the mentor.
