Hi Roger, good use of the different layers again. Don't know why, but this photo looks strangely familiar... Nice shot; well captured, and a decent exposure, good contrast in the dark parts without majorly blowing out the brights.
Cheers,
Hugo

I think this demonstrates where digital compacts are going, surprising quality.

A good illustration of urban life. Maybe the monorail is not so uneconomical if one factors in the way public transportation saves on the conservation/environmental front.

Thanks for the encoragement, Paul. I didn't have much time to linger, but made a note to return for a more leisurely photo session and will bear your suggestions in mind. Next time perhaps I'll take a panorama camera as well as a slightly wider conventional camera. My phone is fine for "candid" shots, and sometimes produces astonishing quality, as here, but all said and done it IS a toy, not a camera to be taken seriously.

Like the perspective Roger and the buildings are interesting. I love these kinds of street scenes....the only thing I have a problem with is I am not sure what to focus on...but having said that I am not sure how I would change the photo. I do see a lot of other potential photos in this scene. I am drawn to the roof of the monorail building (inside) seems like there is some potential for some cool images in there. Nice work...
