Hi Amna, somehow this photo lacks some dynamism and ingenuity I like in your previous B&W florals. Undoubtedly a subjective opinion, but I think this one is more standard, general type of floral shots, or maybe better, the way I would take a photo of a flower, and as you know, that is not my strongest point....:) In this more straight forward approach, I think a wider DOF would be more fitting.
On the other hand, If I had taken this floral, the lighting wouldn't have been as strong as this; the contrast between upper and lower side of the petal is very strong, and it does add alot to this image. I do believe I've seen better florals by you...
