About Maybe I saved the best for last, or maybe I'm crazy, but I loved the warm tones in this sight. This is the original, straight from the camera. No PS except to resize.

I looked at all three. Do we get to vote? I will vote for this one. While converting to B/W does enhance some photos, I am still partial to keeping color unless trying to create a mood where color just does not fit. Very good series. Are you ever with out your camera?. Del.

Interesing how the color makes this in to an entirely different picture. I thought I'd like the black and white better, but it's hard to beat this rich warm colors. This was a very interesting little series.

Fantastic crisp textures Rebecca. A superb tactile image in soft earthy tones.

While the textures and contrasts in the B&W version are really nice, I think they carry over into this color version undiminished and, as you said, the warm colors really give this 'life'. The shared colors in the rope and grasses ties them together nicely, too (no pun intended :)
It might be nice it the sandy texture at far right ran all the way down to the bottom of the frame, rather than the sidewalk?

I am still undecided between the two ... possibly preferring the colour one though. But they are both excellent photos :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Here the colours are great because the wood colour is si lovely and to combine with the grass. I think i prefer this one in colour.

Super image Rebecca! You can almost feel the different textures, and the colors are very "cozy" to wrap yourself in. Thanks for the nice words on my latest, I really appreciate the look-see. Regards--Bill Voizin

I think this is one of the best shots in your portfolio. The optimal composition and the superb tones in the brownish beige colours. I simply love it. Good that you really let the grass (whatever you call it) take a lot of space on the left side.

This picture is oddly striking. From an asthetic point of view, I'm not for sure what to think. I feel drawn between judging it weird and good.

From a more technical stand point, I like how the picture is evenly divided between two types of textures and lines. I also like how there is a bit of free space on the right side of the image to keep it from feeling too crowded.
