Yes I thought out cropping the walkway out but its there so people won't tramble on the plants and ground.

Good shot, even in B&W it looks nice and the texture of the rocks strong because of the lunlighting angle.

I like this because it's not one of the standard Yosemite views which we've all seen many times. The massive rock is imposing and the toning lends additional charm to this image.

very nice diagonal composition! a strip in the grass is a bit distracting form me; it is to nice pice of a nature and all unnatuure things somehow doesn't belong in this image; maybee a bit lower angle would help to cover the line (strip) with the grass....

lovely photo the b/w really brings out the feeling of that area. 20 years ago i climbed that face, called royal arches. as always it was scorching hot and i got way to sunburnt on it...lol
