thanks, david. Anything to do with joni mitchell i take as a great compliment! :O) I used to love shooting x-processed film, especially for fashion style work so it's interesting to try & find a way to capture that look digitally. Although this was not planned during the shoot & was way overexposed by mistake but, hey, it's one way of learing something new! One of these days i'll get myself a scanner & get some of my old fashion shots on my computer- it would be fun to see them & work on them in PS rather than in the dark room. Thanks again - jennifer

hi cagatay - thanks for your comments! no, i didn't use any filters when shooting this - i actually just unintentionally shot a bunch of photos way overexposed & this is how they turned out! well, not quite like this - i did do some levels & saturation work in PS to punch up the colours somewhat, but the overall effect was captured accidentally in camera. Sometimes we just never know what we'll come up with! :O)

Warhol-ean.... great effect again it separates me from this being just a portrait to an artistic impression that conveys an emotional sensitivity that is really tangible.

What a great portrait...the light give it a touch of fragility... The colours are wonderfull...so very well done..
