Another wheat photo, taken right before the combine came by. I really liked the color here. Used my Photo Draw to give it the effect, with just enough left untouched to let you know exactly what the picture is about. At one point, I used this image and added a monarch butterfly - rather like the sunset butterfly - but couldn't figure out what a monarch had in common with the wheat except the color. So took it back out again. Hope you enjoy this one.
Hi, Gabrielle. I'm from the east edge of the state - West Memphis. We've got some good food here, too - but most of it is from our backyard grill - or go across the river to Memphis. Our yard backs up to a (so far!) farmer's field and over the years he has planted soybeans or cotton or soybeans or field corn or soybeans or wheat or soybeans or...soybeans. I'm glad I caught the wheat before it went away.
