Joe,
You are right. It took me about 1 hour a day for 2 days for this shot to be captured and still due to limitation of my lense( 300mm) the shot is not as sharp as it should be. It was worth waiting for.

Great shot!! Trust me I know just how difficult these birds are to capture, they are so easily spooked, I look forward to seeing more of your shots.

I like it, Kunal. It is difficult to get a good shot of birds in flight. You did very well here. If you can afford it, Sigma makes a 50-500mm lens that works on your D70. It would reach out there and get a shot like this. Den Thompson here on Usefilm uses one of these lens on his D70. Check out his portfolio for some of his bird shots. The cheapest place I've found this lens in the U.S. is at sigma4less.com - about $840. I haven't purchased from these people but plan to when I get ready to upgrade to digital slr.

Great shot - the haron is so sharp and yet very bright and colorfull at the same time...I would add a bit of blue/green flavor to it...something like thatL
