About Here is another shot of Lyle from our Jedediah Island trip yesterday. This shot was early in the morning and as you can see that we have a red sky in the morning which for seamen it means that a big storm is coming. And true to the myth the blow did start up right about now rising to 25 knots and later that day all the way to 40 knots. We are at present here trying to get to safe harbour before that time though. AS you can see Lyle wasn't worried a bit, just bidding his time and keeping the tiller on course.

wonderful image tells the story, isd that a light house in the back ground ?
Red sky really sets up the 1000 word story the picture tells.

Amazingly beautiful colors. He seems a sea worthy captain, doesn't look a bit concerned.

he hates getting his photo taken, so i had to sneak it...the flash would have been a distastful thing in his eyes, i think. But good sugestion i will keep it in mind for the next time!

Good study Tim under difficult conditions.Maybe just a bit of fill flash on Lyle to open up the shadows would add a little more impact. Cheers John

Wonderful colours, not just in the sky but the reflection on the water is lovely. I am afraid I could feel sea sick just reading the 'about'
