I like the angle, but find the bits of people right behind his face distracting.
digital? try to underexpose a bit, so that the highlights don't explode like this.

I love this one, especially the high contrast effect, and his expression is very natural looking. The people in the background add interest, although it's a shame that the white blouse and arm are directly beside Johnny's cheek, as I think it is a bit of a distraction from his face.
