Thanks Tim - for your honest comment!!
I do appreciated it!!

and yes - you're right with the lightning.
I'm not happy with it either....
and the background is quite unimportant _ I do care about the backgrounds I choose but in this case I never would have thought that it could be distracting... I'll remember that =)

Thanks for commenting and for your version with PS... ;-)

Annie,
This is wonderful. Love the pose and composition. Tom suggested crop is a good suggestion, gets rid of unecessary elements. Skin tone is a little hot on the face but I don't know how you could have compensated except maybe under-exposing slightly. It is difficult and somewhat unavoidable when shoot during the "golde hour" of sunset. Excellent job nevertheless.

Somehow looking through the recent new photo's I come up to your work again. Fun.
Anyway, I like the set up for the picture, it's quit jolly and creative. But there are a copple of things you could increase. The most important thing in this picture, here face is slightly overlighted that's something that might not happen. The position where you took the picture from is great, I assuming you could direct her, when I look at her face I can see shadows falling so that's a good thing creating some wonderfull tones in her face. Last but not least, I hope you won't blame me I'am just sharing my thoughts, there is the isseu from the background. On the right side it's totally dark and on the left side it's totally light. It's one of the hardest things to also look at the background when your totally focused on the subject, but it's very important. I forget it all the time, I also forget to focus right so I have my problems myself. :)
I tried some things in PS with your photo and I'll add it. I'am not a real artist with it so don't expect to much of it :)
Greets, Tim.
