MCAS Miramar Airshow is this weekend. Getting pictures of the Blue Angels has proved rather difficult, but the static displays are very nice to shoot. We happened along Capt. W.C. Tallman - Call Sign "Stank" as he was coming in from the show. The announcer could not tell us how some of the pilots earned their names, so we can only guess for this guy. I thought it comical that he was calling on his cell phone whilst still in his plane - here is a great shot for the advocacy of headless cell phones! Anyway, I liked the way the sun was hitting the cockpit window and almost titled this one "Honey, I'll be home in an hour". We will be going out to the show today, so hopefully I will get a Blue Angel shot to post...
