Thank you very much for the comments, Dr. I will work with this one some more. I lose a lot of detail information by having to scan prints on my old flatbed and one can only go so far with PS before it begins to look artificial. I'm planning to invest in a decent film scanner in the near future and that should sharpen my images from the start. Best wishes, Kurt
