She looks shocked..."Where did you come from?" Love the look in your newest portraits. Maybe a bit more showing of the arm cut off at frame-only because the wrist looks bloated. Otherwise, well done~~~

Sid, Yes she does have blotchy skin - see attachment. It shows up in color more. I am actually compressing the tonal range because I like the effect it has on skin, it seems to show detail better.

I gotta get in on mentioning how gorgeous she is. There, I said it.
Jeff, I really like these poses and her expressions are terrific!!! The flattened tonal range effect you have on this - is it because of her skin tone? I would guess that this is for the sake of experimentation but I recall you mentioning that she has blotchy skin. Sid

Carol, Thank you, the whites were done that way on purpose to make them very detailed and crisp to stand out - so some parts are a little hot. Yes, I think she is gorgeous too.

Zandra, lest you think I am ripping heads off bodies this close to Halloween, attached is the original with her head intact. LOL! I am surprised at your reference to her chest, she is not very big there LOL! The look is because of the flattened tonal range.

Love the structure, especailly on the shirt :). There is something that deosn't quit add up to me, not sure if it is the pp or not. It looks like her head is taken form another photo/copied from this photo to a new layer...see the line of her neck, to the left in the picture...the shadow is not quit riht there i think. Did you copy her face to a second layer whe doign light adjustments? Teh way she hold her hands are great but the angel of her pose makes her look a bit "flat chested". She is holding her hands right where her breasts are so it looks like she does not have any (hehe, i can say that, cause i am a girl myslef;)) I woudl try to have hger pose a lite bit more sideways, the her hands woudl not hide her curves but rather distinguish them some more....maybe , i am not a professional so i can't be sure, just a guess.
Hm...i feel a bit crule her. I hope you don't mind or get upset with me. It is only cause i know you do great work.
Hugs Zandra

It is a flattened tonal range designed to enhance skin detail requiring several adjustment layers.

Striking pose with emotion. The tonal range is a bit disconserting though. What is your process here?
