Ah, here it is. I like the broken strands of the stroke. Reminiscent of caligraphy (ink and brush work). Well done. Firey. Love to know more about your camera settings to get this effect.

i like this very much! what i find special in your image is how the moontrail is broken in certain parts although there was nothing between your lens and it,as you said. looks like you moved your camera in different speeds during the exposure. the image that Ben Mock attached is closer to what i'd expect from a moon painting, but not at all as appealing as yours. regards, kostas

Very alive and vital. One could say it's an abstract moon. I like concept behind it. Cheers!

Thankyou Aimee! "You are not alone" Michael Jackson...... This was taken on the same night but from the other side of the globe (Australia). Keep up the good work. Cheers, Ben

No advice matey. Never sold one and haven't printed for a looooong time. How would you market, website? Personally henever I think of selling anything like that I get the most confidence thinking localized. A well placed stall or rapid response portraiture... Would you buy a glycee printer or utilize a service. I worked with my brother in graphics occasionally... lots of supervising of the printing process seemed to be necessary back then but it was five years ago and not glycee.

Excellent image! I've tried this with street lights and flashlights, but never the moon! Very well done.

I thought there was a tree in front too (particularly from the part near the center bottom), but I suppose it would not look as it does with camera motion. I tried this myself a while back but did not succeed nearly as well as you did.

Ian, just between you and me... and everyone else here at Usefilm...but, it happened quite by accident. I was trying to paint I suppose and now that I think of it the image I had in my mind as I was moving the camera was of chinese writing. To me it looks like it might say something. And thank you for replying as I always love to hear from you. I have a question for you, I am looking into selling some of my images using Glicee printing... Do you have any advice for me?

(No tree... well how do I rescue that one...) It looks like there was foliage there. Interesting how the image breaks up in parts, the effect is like when you go fast with a paint brush. Instead of just being dimmer, it breaks up. Very tasty effect. Of course it's very like writing of some kind. Did you actually try to do write something with it? I decided to with something similar with candles but it's a real chore.

Hi Ian! Thank you for commenting but what do you mean by tree? This is a photo of the moon last night... LOL I'd like to know more on what you think of the image. I always love your comments. Take care!!!! P.S. This is the moon that I used to paint with, which resulted in the photo I posted.
