Very nice, i like how the trees suround the image, giving a border feeling. I have never been to South Dakota "one day"

Lori Just so you know on this shot the lighting is natural, it was partly cloudy and the light was hit and miss. There is a great light show at night but i would never wait in one spot that long to get rained on ;) jimc

Hi Jim, I've not visited this place before. One of these days I want to see this myself. Very nice, the lighting really shows the features well. I like the one below also! Lori :)

Jim, I'm glad you posted both versions. They're both impressive but I think I prefer the comment image. Having said that I would have wanted to see it in more detail. Thanks for giving me the best of both worlds. Den

Chris My main objective in my photography is to present my POV. that way you can shot all subjects everyone else does, but hopefully you can present them in a different way so as to establish your self. Well thats what I am trying for anyway ;-) jc

I've seen many photo's of Mt. Rushmore, Jim, but never this view. I like the way the trees frame the sculptures. Best regards, Chris
