I like plain and simple...it really works well. Good texture and crop. Well done

Del, I did bump up the saturation a tad, but they are the colors.

The barn blends beautifully with the grass in the foreground. I wonder if you helped the color of the grass a little or if it is the natural color of the grass. Del.

...very quiet ... the muted tones are perfect for this image - I wish I could walk into this one -- looks warm and inviting. Kev

Nothing plain and simple about the photo, though. It has all the qualities of an excellent shot: content, repeating line, shapes, colors, and the lighting is just right. And, besides all that, I like it!

Great capture of "just a barn", Rebecca! You've made an artwork out of it!

Rebecca, beautiful composition and soft blending colors. Reminds me of my grandfather's paintings of, his favorites, old shacks and barns along the bayous around New Orleans. Thanks for the kind comments on my latest. Regards--Bill Voizin

I love the colors here.. how they looks like going in different lines or fields.. and that the colors come back on the roof of that barn. Really nice. Great composition! Great work.. =) 7++

The picture of tranquility. The tones are amazing, the balance of them. Your eye is drawn to the rough hewn and dark barn facade and then radiates out to the surrounding muted rose tones to the soft greens. The foreground grass has a lovely delicate wispy quality. You must have been struck by how the barn seems to be taking on the colours of everything around it. There is even a hint of green creeping into the wood at front.

Ken, I guess you and I must see a lot a like. That's exactly what I liked here. ANd you noted the desaturation and mood perfectly on my other shot. I see right now I could keep no secrets from you! lol Thanks for the lovely comments.

Beautiful--I like how the reddish roof echoes the red grass in the foreground.
