This image is weirdly revolutionary!! Unbelievable! I love it! Looks like a chemical reaction! Today's tripods are wild when you leave them alone ha? Interesting that you noticed it!!

nice photo and great perspective, glad you explained what it is because I had something different in my mind, thought you were blowing bubbles through a straw into a mud puddle, but I stiil liked it, thanks

I guess this also fits 'under your feet'. Now how many people are busy shooting using their tripod and had no idea there was a shot 3' away. Good eye and imaginative mind to catch this. Nice job composing and all the techs. I was wondreing what you might have shot from this tripod standing here...Morning Wave maybe?

Like driving a stake through a heart and as it bubbles and gasps for life all the colour from the world drains away. Fade to black.

Great capture Brad - I forget what the sea, sand and surf look like it has been so long ... and what is this thing they call the sun ? I heard it is yellow and bright until it is in the vicinity of the UK
Fabulous photo !
Best wishes, Steve

Brad, Oops! Now that I look at the TITLE, it does look like scrambling eggs, sorry about that, I guess I should have paid as much attention to the title as I did to the image and not worry about poking fun at of the post above mine. Sorry about the sarcastic comment at the end of my previous post. And as far as MY portfolio, well, it?s mostly junk, there?s only one or two pictures I really like, I?m just trying to get some feedback (good or bad) so I can start to develop some sort of consistent style. Thanks brad. I?m looking forward to seeing more of your work. ~Mike BTW, I rated this a 7.. It's perfect

An excellent eyecatching to a great photo! Very well seen and composed! The lighting balance and the minimal dof are perfect, Bradley! In my honest opinion, it deserves a BIP! My best regards, Carmem

It?s a powerful presentation; the angle of the rod leads the eye into the sand and the shadow lends itself to balance the overall composure. Also the minimum depth of field works well to isolate the texture in the sand as well as the choice of using black and white film/setting. The rule of thirds is properly applied to this and the negative space and tight crop adds to the overall macro effect. This is perfectly exposed as to bring out the reflections of the sun without any blowout. We can still focus through the transparency of the water into the sand through the bubble as sort of a magnifying glass. The thin white frame and black border adds to the overall emotional appeal and offers that buffer to separate the image from its surroundings?.. And whatever, I really don?t know what I?m talking about, I like the shot though! and I don?t think it looks anything like eggs as the above post states, not even if I squint my eyes and drop acid focusing on my computer through a thin blue haze of burning weed. Although I might be able to see the face of Christ in there somewhere if I took the effort to do all that. I did like your portfolio though; you have talent, honestly, ~Mike
