This being our second meeting on the pages of "Usefilm, I suggest that we switch to first name. I am Rafi, but about your first name, if you agree that I use it, I have a problem. Will it be S.D. or will you give me a full first name? Be that as it may, your "Ain't i Pretty!" is as pretty as they come. Each feature of the fly and its immediate surrounding is clearly visible, even the dust on its hairs and the colors are wonderful. Thank you for your comment on my "Glass reflection". Regards, Rafi

Wow, this is some portfolio you've got here S.D and you've sure got to grips with the Tamron Macro. This image is incredible. I think the eye looks like a piece of peeled & chopped carrot. The overall sharpness is unbelievable. COMPLIMENTS!! Den

Thanks Stephen for your comment! and you're right - the tamron does deliver beautifully though it did take me a while to get used to it. Supposedly minimum focus distance is 30 cm but i was less than 10 cm from this lil fella and ifocused alright manually.

Fabulous macro photo - the Tamron delivers incredible detail.
The detail in the flies eyes is so clear it resembles a human finger print !
Super composition and lovely colours - excellent photograph :-)

Well there you go. I use PSP 8 daily and I haven't really checked out their frames much. I tend to make my own. But thanks to you SD, I will definitely be checking them out. Thankyou very much. Judi
