Great capture Arwa, I'm actually going to go against the popular vote !
I like the mysterious dark look behind the white cloth. The fact you cannot clearly see the face can conjur up different images in the mind - it may be a startled look or could be a happy look - it is the not knowing that makes the photo for me :-)

Expressive eyes! maybe if you sued a flash it will help to lighten some areas, but i know how hard to take pics in Makkah. Fadel did excellent work on it

Great contrasts between the dark skin and the white cloth! A little bit more light on her face would have been nice though. Great expression from her!! Great framing as you only see the eyes and the surrounding cloth.. and no background. Makes it different and special.

Very nice image Arwa, but I agree that the face needed more light. if you don't mind I adjusted the lighting in PS, here is the result.

thanx for the comment im afraid I didn?t have time to think she was standing in the hotel lobby and I just pointed the camera pressed the shutter and thought about it later ;)
she reminded me so much of a pic i saw called "Moslem Woman" :)
Maybe I should have used fill flash but I thought that the light facing her was enough apparently it wasn't :(
