Interesting Jaoa's suggestion, I'm not so sure as it seems to me to create a link between the two parts and an impression of a diagonal to smoothly lead the eye from one the other. I'm sure either way's fine but like this just as it is.

Perfect. I would have been strongly motivated to PS-remove the plant in the middle to accentuate the isolation of the foreground one.
