Well, Ken, they are photos, not the real things! I have over two hundred shots--the result of observation that developed into fixation. This style and the other that you commented upon do indeed show strong Indian influences. It is very common design on the streets. One of the things that made me take notice in the first place is the huge stylistic diversity. Paris is deservedly renowned for its sense of style. I might post a few more, including some less classy than those I've shown so far. Regards, --George

The door knob design looks very much a Indian style. These ones are very common in India even now.
May be these designs are everywhere including Paris. I should be looking closure.
What do you mean by 'collection' - collection of photos I presume or do you collect the actual knobs itself ! If so -Must be very heavy though.
regards, ken.

So you post different versions of the same theme, just like me, George, all impressive and I'll spare both of us the dilemma of deciding which version is better than the other. Between you and me and the doorpost (an idiom I remeber from highschool) I agree with you, otherwise I would not have popsted my "Reflections in Tel Aviv" in the first place. Regards, Rafi
