You must spend hours going down the road on your hands and knees. Well, in my opinion, the results are worth a few holes in the pants. Very pleasing work.

Your roadsides are far more interesting than ours, except for about three weeks in early spring. This is exceptionally nice for the soft lighting and establishing background.

Very nice Dave,
You've made such a simple/plain roadside flower look very stately and elegant.
Love the diagonal composition/placement of the flower stem. Beautiful color against the dark background.
Isn't it amazing what we can see when we just open our eyes and REALLY look around us?
Nice work, Lori :)

A daring diagonal composition with excellent dof and vivid yellow in the flowers in your "Roadside Series-Yellow", my friend. Thank you, Dave, for your nice comment on my "Variation 2". Regards, Rafi

Beautiful colors and dof. I swear every time I see one of these I'm going to buy the close up lens! Great shot. Wonderful clarity.
