I would like to see it, are you going to repost? If not email me a copy at al.ungar@ngc.com

Indeed.. the image I originally posted had very little processing applied. I have revamped it... using the techniques you mention... oddly, probably while you were typing it... and yes... now it has more Pop... and the spec is gone... :-)
Thanks for the suggestion!

JT, looking at the image after I posted it, it is now over-sharpended, since you probably had already used USM or it's "pixulated" (if there is such as word :)

JT, I like the picture, but besides the spot (which I get on my 10D quite often as well), the image lacks some "pop". Of late I received some great advice from some very good professional photographers and their comment was the same regarding my images (I don?t post here very often any more, since I rarely received any comments and none since I received the advice). They told me to increase my contrast and use curves to adjust light. If you?re shooting in RAW, use the processor as much as possible before going to PS. I also used an add-on program called ?Cannon 10D CSPRO? for sharpening. I took the liberty of doing a 30 second adjustment to your image (with more time, a much better job could be done). It's, of course, only a suggestion for your consideration.

Thanks.. I will be reposting this image in a couple of days... I just noticed that speck on the left side of the image. A little work and it will be gone... :-)
