Interesting that you trimmed it so tightly, Chris. I just couldn't have cut off the tip of the prow... but your crop works very well, with the contrast between straight-end frane and curved ship waist quite fascinating. Nice colours, though getting a bit tatty in places. A working boat, not a tourist trap!

Grat composition Chris, i must needs post a tug boat shot soon for you to compare. they are similar in construction. Wonderful light on this shot and the detail is tack sharp, bang on !!!

Lovely photo Chris, looks like she has a little rust problem and needs some TLC. I had a chance to go out on an offshore trawler towards Iceland to get some seatime in on my Radio ticket - I chickened out after hearing what it is like north of the Irish sea !!!
