...a fine piece of work, Gayle. I am a true lover of the B-movie/horror/sci-fi thing and this takes me away...great work...I love the mystery and the apprehension (did I spell that right...too many adult beverages...) and the color is oh so cool(no pun intended). I am looking and am expecting something to jump out at me at any moment...K

Spooky, like a nightmare! Not a place I'd want to visit! This would make my hair stand on end. Great work!

Oh man! I thought Christine had the "spook" category all tied up and then I find this. It's a tough call, but I think this is the best yet. I can look at this and just feel my brains being sucked out into a chaotic maelstrom. Powerful and effective. To the max!

Insanity

Could you love me..this I ask..with out a single word..
with out the benefit of doubt..I'm not sure what I heard..
I almost though I heard a sigh..of resignation..pain..
of someone not prepared to give..their heart away again..
Could you feel my heart start pounding.....just to meet your gaze..
perpetual emotion.....in a flame of passion's blaze..
Could you hear the sound of my heart breaking when you left..
a burgler making nothing......from this consequential theft..
You stole my heart ..for one brief moment.. I was in a place....
that rendered my world useless..if not in your embrace..
Can you hear the sound of angels..coming after me..
inside I'm dead..forever lost..in my insanity....

Very cool image my friend!! I thought I'd include this 1998 poem I had on a site that seem very befitting. Great mood!!

...and moonlight invades dropping a veil of mysterious and eerie shadows. Neat the way the lighting gives the appearance that the door jamb continues through the transparent floor with ghostly eyes rising where wall and floor meet. Well seen and captured Gayle! (I see you tend to ignore 'Keep Out' signs too, we should do this together and take turns at being the lookout ;-).)

The madness of her soul enveloped her, the demons of her mind closed in on her, there was no place to run from what was inside her.

Hey Gayle! I love this shot...I'm a big fan of creepy. I particularly like the way the doors seem to bow in...like they're breathing. Truly disturbing! I did a series of shots from inside an abandoned asylum about a month ago that you might enjoy. regards, Brad
