thanks so much for your feedback & critique, Mark. I certainly am drawn to photos that step outside the boundaries of convention, so to speak, & have been having a lot of fun with shooting digital as it seems to have less restrictions than film. I've really been enjoying watching your portfolio grow - you create an amazing sense of mood & place with your images & i look forward to seeing MORE!! thanks, again.

The style you chose here leaves a distinct impression on me, of time passed. I feel mostly as though I am imagining, or dreaming of what I am observing. This in itself, is an art form. To put the observer in a different place, both mentally and physically. With specific regard to the image, the stark contrasts work well with the "blur" and present a "safe" feeling for me. It is most interesting, and very commendable. ..Brad

Here we have a different set up from the previous-and a totally different mood. Goes with how I believe that there are a million ways to shoot something. You have a real winner here. While the other one had more of a creepy feel for me, this one is more warm- I can imagine myself walking along the woods and finding this beauty standing before me with the warmth of the sun's glow shining upon it. Makes me curious-so full of wonder of what lies within the walls-but know that it must be a beautiful place. I would love to have a dream like this-where everything is peaceful-and even though it has a feeling of being alone-there's no fear. Wonderful~

Hi Jennifer
What a cool image. It breaks so many rules ( I hate that word) of photographic convention. There is nothing sharp it suffers from flare and on top of that it looks overexposed.
It's so far removed from the sunset photo that is so commonplace that it's not one at all. It's like you have photographed a dream. Top marks for showing us what can be produced when we choose to think outside the square.
Cheers Mark
