Ahh .. i see .. yea .. it's really awkward to carry a bulky camera wherever you go!! i missed many photo opportunities cus i didn't have a p&s camera and couldn't take my slr camera with me!

Thanks for the comments... This rose was in a vase in the hospital where my grandson was born. I wish I could carry the minolta with me every where I go, but it's too big and awkward. The Kodak fits into my pocket, so I can carry it when I'm going around town. I use my Minolta for most of my Studio and field shots...

good details! i would get closer and get red of the background or go for a wider aperture to completely blur the bg.
your minolta produces better macro, i guess. why don't you stick to it, Peter?
