About f6 @ 1/209sec
here's another foray for me into the world of more traditional landscape. The scenery in the Canadian Rockies is so incredible that it's hard to think about doing macro work or shooting in soft-focus!

very beautiful, a bit magical landscape. i like reflections in water and pensive, a bit lonely athmosphere.. would like to sit down here and forget the time, to dream, long, long... :)

thanks a lot for your comment!
regards,
Kadri

hmmm, this is a good photo but as we had discussed earlier the tree in the background generates more attention then it deserves. It makes it hard to go beyond, and not interesting enough to linger. just a small thing as the overall photo is excellent despite that.

It's always great to see a b&w landscape done so well. It's truly beautiful how the scenery has such great natural contrast-I think that is one of the main things that makes this work so well. The mountains in the distance looks like a beautiful mirage-and the reflection-well I think you know how I feel about reflections... :)
Wonderful~

Another beautiful one! Great B&W convertion. The composition is also excellent. I love the darker tones of the wetlands in contrast to the lighter mountains in the rear and the slight haze or fog really nails it! Excellent!
