Very nice portrait! Perfect dramatic b/w use! The smoke is ''all the money''! Excellent shot! Congrats my lady!

oh... dear Richard... it is so nice to have such comments from someone whose work i admire so much... thank you... what i did is simly a black background... total absence of lighting except for a smooth spotlight to show only the part of face i wanted... as for the smoke... the trick is not to exhale it but to let it come out of the mouth naturally... it is thicker that way.. making nice slower movements so it is easier to snap it.... i believe though that iso 100 or something, would have give richer textures and shadows... thanks again... emy

Very moody, both in expression and lighting. This is a portrait I would be proud to call my own. Any hints????????

This is really a wonderfull picture. I like it that you see only half of his head. The smoke looks really awsome, and it wonderfully combines with the black background. Really a mysterious picture, witch is wonderfull. My compiments, 7!! Greets, Lex.
