hi Peter,
yes i fixed the curvature after this submission @ home. I just needed to ajust the barreling first before playing with it in other ways. I am using it in PS 7, although i have PS 8 too. i just don't like some of the aspects of PS 8 to date, so i have reverted to 7 :(

Yeah, impressive it is .. indeed add some exercise, the horizon has 2 bulbs left and right .. but you will surely get it right ! (is this plug-in in PS8 ?) Regards, Peter

Le saludo, un tiro muy interesante, el ave retoma el peso de la acción y la convierte en muy original

magical, Tim! Great colour & tones, stong composition & a wonderful feel to this photo. Peaceful & dramatic at the same time. A sense of promise, of change, of possibilities. Hmmm...maybe like life itself when we slow down enough to notice what's out there & around us, & still & quiet here within. Beautiful!

yes Nick, all i did for that shot was spot meter on the brightest spot in the clouds. Oh that was shot on the first day that i got that camera.....after just a few photos i could see that this camera was so much better then any of the past cameras that i had up till then. Like WAY better, the range of sensitivity it has is just amazing and i'm sure that with the 7 point metering coming up with the next gen of cameras it will only improve.

I'm still getting to know it *G* ... you have some pretty amazing photos here Tim - I especially love this one: http://www.usefilm.com/image/530335.html
Did you use a filter of some kind? - you posted that you just meter the brightest level - is that with spot metering?
Sorry for all the questions, just trying to improve here :)

Excellent Nick, i have been having a great time with mine. It makes the technical stuff way easier for me ... just point and shoot, if you want and ...... still another good shot!!! I'm head over heals with mine.

Hi Chris,
yes it would have worked if i had not played with the photo in other ways first. Next time i will do the barrel distortion fixer first before i do any thing else. Here is the web site to get your free plug-in for Photoshop: http://www.dpreview.com/learn/?/Image_Techniques/Barrel_Distortion_Correction_01.htm
Cheers , tim

'Barrel distortion' plug-in? Never heard of that one, Tim! is it built in or an added extra? Looks like you might have overdone it a little on this one as the horizon seems to bend one way then the other. Great sky though! Kind regards, Chris
