About This photo of Yeovil railway station was taken using the 'selective subject' setting on my Nikon D70 ~ an amazing feature that allows the camera to take a completely different dhot to the one you'd planned!

This revolutionary feature, (sadly lacking on the Minolta Z1), is very useful for people who find it difficult to travel more than about 5 miles from their home and who seem stuck in a permanent winter.

Sadly, for some reason, it was only a few of the British imports that were fitted with this facility. I just got lucky, I guess! :-)))

Best regards to all,

Chris

Too cool! Love the effect! You should go into the puzzle business. They are always looking for beautiful images, photos or others, to use for their products. Some of your images would make spectacular 3D puzzles. WOW another beauty!

Don't quite relate this to a railway station but anyway it is a very beautiful picture of this fountian. A very unusual texture. Well done. Don.

Chris
this might come as a surprise, but my D70 seems to be stuck in this mode. at least it seems so.
I enjoy this Site so much, as someone mentioned the other day, the word addiction ! You and all the others have created this atmosphere each with thier own thing to add.

OH BTW , I really like this image, Your signature shows

Good editing work Chris. Looks very artistic to me! Good composition and colours too. I have been running all morning after the dragonflies, trying to capture them with my camera....... oops...I forgot I had to pack my suitcases.

I've got it on mine also Chris, but tell me how do you switch it off.
I think the effect you've added suits this shot just perfectly but the accolades for the original must go to Mr Nikon.

Mr S ... I hope you realise that some members might believe you? :-))) I just don't know how you manage to fib so easily on a Sunday morning!

Great artwork ... uhm ... selective subject and selective whatever. I'm sure my Z1 has the same features ... I think I will find it once I have completed all my PS Elements tutorials!

Till then, I will simply have to continue posting my images straight from the Z1 - you remember those awesome, prize-winning, to-die-for, perfect images that I post on a regular basis?

Now please try to not tell any more tall stories today :-)
