About	I never managed to get sunset untill now. I traveling on the west coast and wanted to find a good spot for sunset. I tried couple of places to settle myself. None of them satisfied me with the angle. So wanted to look for a better spot. But the sun was getting low and low. I knew I only had perhaps 10 mts at the most to find a spot. kept driving and ended up on a farm land with locked gates. The beech was just beyond the farm. I was not sure whether I should tresspass the farm land to reach the beech. Sun was almost to the lowest spot at this stage. Told myself "what the heck" and opened the gate drove the jeep to the beech. When I reached the beech, it was so secluded that no one was on the beech. These birds were not expecting a sole and were in massive groups. My unexpected arrival distrubed them and they took to flight. Thats when it occured to me that not only I have got the perfect spot but also with the perfect possible scene. Clicked several shots. Some of them were realy wonderful. In all it was a 'mini' adventure. Enjoyed the chase as much as the click. Hope you guys will like it.

You do make wonderfull photos of beautifull places! Real great!
This one is good especially becuase of all the birds... sunsets are seen before, but the birds make this one special..

Excellent sunset composition...Ken...u risk a lot for these compositions...driving reverse on a freeway and now trespassing...way to go.

Love your story Ken, I could write a book on my 'adventures'...especially while photographing weddings. It is truly amazing what lengths we will go to in order to get just the right shot!

This is a great sunset shot. Worth all the effort to get to your location. I think the birds are what make the image come together so well. Without them, you would have just captured some great color from the sky. Nice work.
