Thanks for stopping to comment. I adjusted the colors and saturation to my liking, then applied a texturizer. It's a filter in PS Elements. Very uncomplicated ( or else I could not do it).

Cool experiments, Rebecca! The bottom part especially looks like a painting on rough canvas, or maybe a tapestry. The texture works beautifully and brings out the exquisite detail of the flower petals. The only thing that I think detracts a little from the overall mood is the little bit of 'neon' fringing along the upper petals - what do you think of this crop that eliminates that piece?

hi, on my monitor it looks like it has a textured canvas texture...love the shadowing and they look like they are floating..the background is interesting,too..good experiment!..lovely image..gayle

Beautiful and elegant, they appear to be made of tulle. The soft varying hues are delicate and converge in a small burst of vivid colour. Excellent!
