John and Del - thanks for your comments. The house is a modern house built to look like an old one with a thatched roof. Here is another picture of an older thatched cottage which has a part tiled roof on an annexe.

Nice sharp photo. The bench is nice, but I am really intrigued by the building with it unusual appearing roof and beautiful brick. I wish I could see it from a different angle. I just have the feeling I am missing something. Do you have another shot of the same structure?
