Last one in the series... I tried a more abstract composition here - hard against soft. You may think this one was taken near the top of the mountain - actually it was at the bottom :)
Hi Hermen, The good thing about close up shots, is that they leave the specifics up to the imagination of the viewer. The tension of a shot, so to speak. That, and the heavy colours create the appeal of this shot. Very good tones, and the shadows in the rock emphasise the texture beautifully.
Compared to the other shots in this series, I do think, however, that it misses the meadow to line it, and place it a bit more into perspective.
