I can respect that decision. Dealing with sky can be a royal pain in the ass and there's plenty of stuff to look at on the ground, besides.

> this image makes me feel like I am in the UK looking down this road.

Too right!
It even has me getting homesick for somewhere that was never home...

> You might be able to rescue the sky if you do some channel work in Photoshop.

Nah, I gave that up (in analogue mode) in the 1980s after about two years of using filters. It is probably a minority preference, but I tend to like the sky washed out in an image like this. Obviously, I realise that I will be spending the rest of my life in a mobile federal image internment camp, but, you know, that's the price you pay...

Beautiful composition. Great forced perspective. The lens bending really helps to make this shot.

> the lighting condition is very difficult so you got a very bright sky (not sure if you did that on purpose..).

Yes, there is a bit of a neck strain looking at the flatness of the lighting, the dull oneness of the overclouded sky. This fascinated me at the time, and I find myself looking at it now and becoming invigorated with a renewed longing for the place.

Mind you, I squeezed this image a bit. Even though I rarely get excited about the results of my amateur image manipulations, this appeared quite nice as it accentuated the tweeness...

The perspective you got was really cool and this image makes me feel like I am in the UK looking down this road. You might be able to rescue the sky if you do some channel work in Photoshop.

interesting composition and perspective. it's just the lighting condition is very difficult so you got a very bright sky (not sure if you did that on purpose..).
