Anne asked me to translate her intentions through this picture in english, so that all of you can understand what she wanted to show. This is what she wrote : "No m.c, the red is not accidental, that was like that on the wood; when I saw the shade of that face I thought at a red cap on the head of the boy but after I saw the pain and the blood of so many children who are suffering in their soul and in their body... I think that all of you can see that".

Si m.c, el rojo no es casual,esta ahi en esa madera cuando vi la sombra de ese rostro pense en una gorra roja sobre la cabeza del niño pero despues vi el dolor y la sangre de tanto niños que sufren dolor en sus almas en sus cuerpos. creo que todos lo ven .

Very strong, Anne. Communicates a lot of drama and violence to me --- this is definitely because of the red "splodge" and the borders of the slats.
Also because of the thick black one-sided border. I wonder what it hides.
For me, it sends out a very sad message...
It's a great photo!

Muy fuerte esta foto, anne !
Me pregunto solo varias cosas : de donde viene el rojo ? De toda manera, el hecho que tu lo has mantenido tiene una significacion... Y el rojo es color de la sangre ! Entonces pienso a la vida de tantos ninos de Argentina, de Brasil, de Mexico, todos aquellos ninos abandonados y que estan considerados como menos que perros ! Estoy pensando tambien en tu fundacion...
