About Had this on my hd since a while and always forgot about it. In fact it's the guy from the local photostore here, who would like to expose twenty of my photos in september who made me go through my older pieces.
This was taken on the wildcoast here with an ND filter No.4

Hi Rainer, this one is to my taste, that is what i meant when I commented on your other picture a few minutes ago. Great colour shot, where the colour nearly goes over to black and white. I think this has so much more emotional interest, at least to me, regards, Jorg

Rainer - many thanks for the info. I understand now. :)

Even though it has some limited functions I think I may be able to get an ND filter for my Fuji (Finepix S5000) which I really enjoy using.

I would have bought the Canon 300D if I could have afforded it but it is about 3-4 times the cost of the Fuji. :(

Neil, the terme ND filter goes for neutral density which means you put something dark infront of your lens to allow you to have a longer exposure time then normaly. Just wait till the end of the afternoon and "play" with your aperture. Of course you wont get this with your f stop set to 2.8 :)
So to answer you, the result was totally wanted and the cam set up for it

As everyone else has said - a beautiful image.

I'm interested to know how you get that much movement without over-exposing or over blurring the rest of the sea. Don't understand how you manage that?

Or was it just one of those things that came out and you don't know how?

Wonderful composition with the long exposure. The small pallete of colors makes the image like a dream.

Ok, this is a masterpiece of the blue beauty! So real and so dreamy at the same time. Excellent! 7!

Rainer-- this is a stunning image. Your images have always had gorgeous tones and an otherworldly feel, but there's something beautifully dreamlike about this one. A true 7.
