About This is my first bird shot. I am a bit disappointed with the sharpness. I have cut this from the original so it is quite enlarged.
The Sunbird is a beautiful local bird so I should get a few more opportunities.

Thanks Cary, I've tried the tighter crop and I'm not sure. I'll upload it soon anyway. It will be quite a few days before I have any fresh material, Oliver.

Oliver sorry the latest shots aren't as good as you had hoped. I must admit I don't think I would have got into/enjoyed photography if I had been using film. The digital for me has been wonderful, as I can take as many as I like and just wipe the ones that aren't any good. Often taken several the same but adjusing EV. If I been waiting in anticipation for a film and then not as I had hoped I would be discouraged, however please don't be, I guess everything is trial and error, and a learning experience. Good luck with next film,
Margaret

Oliver, you are very fortunate to live in a place where this kind of natural beauty abounds! This is a nice shot and I can appreciate how cropping will increase the fuzziness, but on this one it would be nice to crop even tighter, to eliminate some of the empty space above and the unneeded detail on each side. Keep on shooting, want to see more, Cary

Thank you Margaret. I need some encouragement today. I've just got my second lot (4*24) back from processing and they aren't very good. Oh well I've got three more rolls ready to put in. I just had a quick look at some of yours and there are some real beauties. I will comment when I look at them properly. Oliver.

It is a lovely shot, but yes it is a bit blurry, but with opportunities at hand I am sure it wont be long before we see a real sharp one. They are really hard to get, it is such a beautiful colour.
I have looked at your other shots, and the spider is fabulous, now that is sharp, excellent
Margaret
