You guessed correctly. as you know wildlife is my first love, but airplanes run a tight second. Before 911 I used to be at the local airport 2 to 3 times a week. I have been know to drive to Minneapolis and sit at the airport for 10 to 12 hours just watching and shooting planes. But now its an invitation to a visit. So I wait for the airshows. It is my love for planes that draws me, I know I will never in a hundred years have any use for all te pictures, Just to give you an idea, Sunday I shot 951 shots of the planes. The D70 with the 4 Gig micro drive allows me to shoot over 1000 shots without changing the card, and now come to think of it, I never changed or charged the battery either. and that was with a lot of previewing, and the camera had to focus either the 80-200 or the 300Mm lens's neither of them are SM ( silent Motor, internal)so that sure speaks well of the battery life. Glad you enjoy these old birds. jimc

That was when airplanes were real. Great image. Brings back memories of when I was young. We lived not to far from the Martin Bomber Plant in Omaha, Ne. They used to fly over and you could see the pilots, they were thay low. They were flying the B26 bombers. Don.
