Thanks for the precise and competent comments.
I taken the photo many years ago and now don't remember if there was space any more to change the shot. However I agree with you, with more space between the mill and the settin sun the composition would have become better

Wow! Very strong photo, Rocco! Excellent tones and lines. The small dykes in the foreground lead the ye out of the photo a bit, but the right back in with the next one, ending up at the windmill. Would it have been possible to take a few steps to your right, crating a tad more space between the mill and the settin sun? I think that would balance the composition a bit more, using the entire area of the photo. The whiff of cloud, seemingly evaporating from the mountain is an excellent touch. Amazing shot, very well captured!
