Craig, you maybe remember my other proccupation, the non-panorama one? It's stereo images! Both are different ways of making the photographic image more like the actual experience of standing before the view and seeing what the photographer saw. This one would be WONDERFUL in stereo... PERFECT. And even as a 2D image it has that elusive sense of depth. I really love it.

Thanks Howie! Glad you noticed the light! I had to wake up really early to take this shot, not only that, but also because it becomes one of the most crowded parts of Florence later on in the day, when all the tourists start showing up!

I am sorry to say that I can't find fault with this photo. It is perfect in my eyes. The lines are straight, the shadowing is complimentary and the man draws the eye straight down the aisle. Congratulations.
