great composition. Thanks for the comment and I can see why you liked the after the rain image....I was thinking it wasn't too original so was surprised by the staff choice:) we even named it the same, darn I typically like to take the creative approach..had no idea

Very nice John.
I do like the full framed affect, I have shot a couple of this type and have not been happy with them. If I had chose to compose as you have done I might have like it better ...not showing all the surroundings.

What a fantastic image. Great shot taken from that angle it is spot on, and the colours are wonderful. At first from the thumbnail, surely he didn't get that close to a giant firework, it is a marvellous explosion of colour
