hi,Neil - i didn't sharpen this but noticed that it looked that way in original..i did resize down and tried the despeckle,but that blurred wood too much...i've noticed this problem on other color shots of mine,so maybe some compression problem?

A good photo of Nature taking it all back. Nice proportions too. I like the black borders on the top and bottom, which add to the panorama effect.
