The framing and the tilt of the image is great, and I love your subject matter (I'm a Golden lover!) but I find that there is too much white sky and it pulls my eye away from the bottom of the image. Perhaps a square crop to lessen the impact of the sky, or like someone mentioned a little bit of colour up there?

Beautiful composition ...the sloping hill, the flowers, the dog. All perfect elements for a wonderful picture. I'm still new to PS myself, and being from the old school hate to alter a picture a lot, but this would have been outstanding if you could have colored the sky a little more...maybe added a few clouds.

Awesome photo, and cute dog, but in photoshop i would decrease the saturation of the color to about 50 percent, and then do the edges Black and white, that way the contrast isnt so striking, but i still love it, just my opinion. (-:
