I tend to favor the non blurred version. You might try a higher camera angle (if possible) to remove most if not all of the background. Nice rendering of the various parts of the life cycle.

Wow what you did with that lotus was very cool too.. I did not look at that last night... Very nice..indeed... they both are awesome pictures..very cool... I love seeing how others would do a picture...differently..

I agree, I made the change to show how to blow out the background, not too effectivly, but to do it. I truly think the photo was superior as it was presented. DiVizio

Very nice shot. I took a copy and played for a few minutes with photoshop using blur tool and smudge tool. DiVizio
