Thank you very much...this is the kind o critique I expect...am trying very hard...as I do not know much...but I love photography and I will do my best.... as soon as I get the camera of my dreams!!! which is not what I use now :-)

I think Zandra said it all. I took some duck shot this past weekend and let me tell you, you have to be patient. I'll post them once I get them developed. Keep up the good work. Look at my portfolio

Welcome to UseFilm Marian.
This picture very much reminds me of the time i was chasing around for a shot of a duck. Most of them came out really blured and i looked like a fool trying to take them. They are quicker then they look ;). It is still a litle bit blurred and the light wasn't the best, the face is a litel bit dark. I get the feeling that the wheater wasn't the best that day...I think it is a very good attempt though. The duck is very well placed whit in the frame. Next time i would suggest that you try to find an angel where the light falls on the birds head, to highliht the feathers. i woudl also suggest a slightly lower view point, if possible, so we can see more of the face.
Keep it up. I'm waiting for your next post :)
