Octav, I think you've captured the feeling of fast motion. My left side of brain failed to understand this image. But my right side really enjoyed the ride. :)

Will do in the fure Mr. Tzanetos. I again thank you for the advice and hope for productive discussions like this one in the future ;).And the "Ganea" aproach did not disturb or mislead me in any way. That's what I understood from the post.
Respectfully, Octav Ganea

Ganea, what made you think "that here only non-altered shots are posted"?? this is not true - a lot of "altered shots" are often posted here in usefilm, and there are also specific categories for them. my comment didnt imply that you shouldnt have posted a manipulated image - if you had told us in the first place i probably wouldnt have tried to guess. i think it is a good idea to provide as much information on your work as possible. my regards,Kostas

Love this abstract photo! Nice work, however I would love you to fill in some more data on who the picture was taken, where and what it is exactly. I would help a lot of people to enhance their photo-skills.
Keep up the good work, Arend.

I decided to reply to your comment Mr. Tzanetos. (BTW well done against the portugese at Euro2004 in the opening match). First of all I would like to thank you for the warm welcome.
You are absolutely right when saying the photo has suffered post-editing. I admit my mistake and should have realised, from the name of the web-site firstly, that here only non-altered shots are posted. I appreciate your tolerance and promise not to post any more severely edited photos.
Respectfully, Octav Ganea.

welcome to usefilm,Ganea :-) your first upload here is a very interesting photo. the sense of motion is very strong, and the really nice effect is supported by the smart composition and the moody toning. technically speaking, this motion effect seems to be created after shooting, since only the leaving train would appear blurred if you were stationary. the only way to be this image a shooting time result, would be to have put the camera on this center rail and move it quickly. but then again the 1/30 zenit's lowest speed wouldnt render such a blurring. anyway, this is unimportant. what matters is that we have a beautiful image here! my regards, Kostas

Superb shot Octav, I like the fact that the centre is very much in focus, whilst having all this motion blur around it.
Good example of abstract, lovely tones, and probably a bit dangerous too, photographing a moving train from that angle.
Regards, Ciprian
