Beautiful toning and an excellent subject, given special treatment with a great composition and very sharp focus and selective DOF.
You have the ends of a great series here, with this wheat shot and the bread shot. Maybe you can fill in the gaps, show us some local bakers, the harvest etc? Just an idea...
Again: very beautiful photo, one could hang it on the wall!

i toni sono eccellenti Gabry, e mi piace molto la tua scelta per questo magnifico lavoro; la composizione mi interessa molto perchè noto l'aria didattica di quella mano più esperta; sarebbe stato rinfornzato il concentto se a mantenere la spiga fosse stata una mano giovane, un bambino per esempio

Gabry sei un'artista.
Trovo bellissima questa immagine, rende bene la tua sensibilità.

this is absolutely a marvelous work of art Gabry! wonderfully composed.. splendid splendid work!!!!!! I noticed you also have the D70! I just got mine last week and I havent had much time to shoot with it, as I have been working 12 hours a day. this is my first DLSR! and at the present moment, it seems rather complicated to me.
but I am going to learn how to use it properly even if it kills me trying~ha-ha.... any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated....jon
